Philippine Campus Crusade for Christ (PCCC) will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary this November 30, Monday at the Christ Commission Fellowship (CCF) Main Center in Pasig City. Days before the event, I write this blog to invite those living nearby or are into travelling from great distances to Manila to be part of this once in a lifetime event.
For 50 years, Campus Crusade for Christ has touched millions of lives who in turn have helped transformed other lives too. This is what the theme “Changed to Change” stands for. As the organization moves to help fulfill the Great Commission, each changed lives for Christ are mobilized to win, build, and send disciples and the process goes on.
The celebration on Monday will start at 1pm and is free for all. But before it, guests can visit booths by different CCC partners. In addition, part of the celebration will feature the book launching of “Debt Free Lifestyle” by Dr. Andrew Liuson.
The anniversary will also be graced by Ptr. Peter Tan-Chi of CCF and Ptr. Narry Santos of Sadle Back Church as its guest speakers. Gary Valenciano and Kuh Ladesma, both part of Artist In Touch (a ministry under PCCC) will also be leading the attendees in worship.
Here’s a video from CCC on the upcoming PCCC 50th celebration:
Starting as a campus ministry dedicated in winning, building, and sending people for Christ’s glory, PCCC has now expanded their reach to the market place, churches, and other industries.
The Changed to Change celebration is a chance to meet up with PCCC alumni, members, partners and volunteers from different parts of the country. It is also a chance to learn more about the organization and God’s faithfulness in the lives of those who said YES to His call to become fishers of men.
